Jenna and James were married in 2014 and since both were travel nurses, they decided to give tiny living a try so they could take their love nest on the road with them wherever their jobs led.
Their adorable home was featured on Tiny House Nation and was built by builders who have since gone out of business due to poor customer reviews. However, the 264 square foot home still gives us loads of inspiration for tiny house dreams!
The exterior of the home features beautiful wood siding with a huge rooftop deck accessed by a staircase on the end of the home.
Unique elements were added to the home to make storage and outdoor entertainment easy. A pull out drawer was added for storing firewood and another cabinet holds a grill, spice rack, and grill tools!
Inside, the home is cozy with beautiful wood on the walls and dark hardwood flooring. The living room has a futon couch that can be pulled out into a guest bed if needed.
A small stove is in the corner of the room with a pretty stone hearth that adds texture to the room as well as protection.
The narrow hallway leading to the bedroom has storage in the floor below each step for clothing and small items.
The kitchen is compact but capable with white cabinets and butcher block countertops. A full-sized refrigerator is on one end and there’s plenty of space for small appliances. Open storage was added over the cabinets to keep the room from feeling too crowded.
The newlyweds lived in their tiny house for years but ended up selling it to another lucky owner for $55,000.
While you may not be able to buy this exact tiny house, we think the outdoor storage ideas are something we can all learn from!
